TV tonight: 'Bachelor' tell-all, 'Body of Proof'

The Bachelor: Sean Tells All
ABC, 9 ET/PT
If that "all" includes telling us how a person who has already been through this TV dating process could possibly think The Bachelor was a rational way to search for a spouse, I might possibly be interested. Otherwise, no.
Body of Proof
ABC, 10 ET/PT
Clearly, this is the Year of the Makeover. NBC already has launched take-two versions of Smash and Community and is pressing ahead with a revamped version of Up All Night (though the odds of that one ever actually seeing the light of a TV screen grow longer by the minute). Fox has reworked Touch, and now ABC enters the fray with a revised version of Dana Delany's Body of Proof. Gone are Nicholas Bishop, John Carroll Lynch and Sonja Sohn, replaced by Human Target's Mark Valley as a detective with ties to Megan's (Delany) past, along with his rookie partner (Elyes Gabel). Their first case together, unfortunately, is a tired one: a killer holding someone close to Megan hostage. Still, it's nice to have Delany back on TV, even in a vehicle as rickety as this one has been so far.
CBS, 10 ET/PT
Let's hope tonight's visit by an unruly starlet breathes a bit more life into a show that, despite its stellar cast, just isn't clicking. Perhaps it's star Dennis Quaid's sometimes too-laconic approach; perhaps it's the failure of the show's sets and costumes, whether true to the period or not, to look lived in. Whatever it is, the show has yet to live up to the promise of the pilot - and it needs to start doing so.
